Tell people they can eat whatever they want and st Tell people they can eat whatever they want and still be healthy, and they’ll either embrace it, or get REALLY angry at you that it’s not true.

Allow me to clear what I mean.

I preach flexible dieting all the time. It’s a lifestyle that allows you the freedom to eat whatever you’d like while still staying on track towards your goals. Who wouldn’t want that?

Problem is, people misunderstand what that actually means (Partly due to the “if it fits your macros” mantra). It doesn’t mean that you should eat whatever you want all the time.

If we just ate whatever we wanted at all times with no regard for our overall health, we’d survive off of only donuts, ice cream, and pizza.

Flexible dieting means knowing that YOU CAN eat whatever you want at any time. It doesn’t mean you’re going to eat pizza every single day, but it’s understanding that you can enjoy pizza or cookies every once in a while and be perfectly healthy. And very happy.

Traditional and outdated dieting methods make us believe that choosing pizza is wrong, and eating it is counterproductive to a healthy life. That’s just not true- you can be perfectly healthy AND enjoy foods that may not be super nutritious.

We’re not robots. We’re going to have cravings. We’re going to want food that may be less than optimal. That is totally okay.

As long as we focus on living overall healthy lives, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having ice cream for dessert or Lucky Charms for breakfast.

Some people are going to continue to believe that they need to eat super nutritious foods 24/7 and that they can never enjoy food they don’t consider “healthy”. Let them continue to believe that- it’s their loss.

That just leaves more pizza for us🙃

2) Stop looking for fat loss shortcuts.

3) Even if shortcuts existed, drinking vinegar would not be one of them.

4) You should not drink this stuff straight cause it’s basically straight acid. If you’re gonna subject yourself to this pain (please dont), at least dilute it with water. I took the chance, because content.

5) I just uploaded a long form video all about fat burners to youtube and this is a quick clip from it. Show some love at youtube.com/mattrosenman, I’m still brand new to the youtube thing and would love feedback. It can only get better from here!

6) Apparently vinegar stays with you for HOURS.

7) Focus on the basics. Calories. Macros. All the good stuff I talk about here. You’re never gonna lose fat if you have no idea what you’re doing.

Look, I get it: sometimes you just need some Netfl Look, I get it: sometimes you just need some Netflix & chill in your life.

But if part of your 2021 goals are to exercise more and you feel you don’t have the time, odds are that you’re simply not prioritizing it.

I fully understand that there are some people out there with extremely difficult schedules. Especially right now. Front-line workers, single parents, those with multiple jobs, etc. Life is hectic.

But you don’t need to carve out hours every single day for exercise. You don’t need these marathon gym sessions. Even 20-30 minute workouts can be very effective!

I’m sure you’re busy. We all are.

But if you want to prioritize your health and exercise more, it may take some sacrifices. Get out of bed without hitting snooze to buy yourself an extra 30 minutes. Or maybe cut back on the TikTok videos of dogs speaking in funny voices.

If you truly do not want to give up TV or thumb scrolling, you can always hop on a bike or take a walk and multitask. Sure, your intensity is going to be way lower than if you were doing a Peleton workout, but you know what I always say….

Doing something is better than doing nothing.

Take a 30 minute walk during your lunch break instead of watching YouTube videos. Do full-body circuit workouts 3 times per week instead of trying to get a workout in 5-6 days per week. Have a dance party in the kitchen.

Anything!

My biggest tip for you is this: find exercise you enjoy. When you enjoy it, it will be SIGNIFICANTLY easier to find the time.

Exercise should never be miserable. It’s not a punishment- it’s a way to improve your life, your health, and your mood. Make it enjoyable and you’ll never struggle to find the time.
