This one hit me right in the feels. Calvin & Hobbes has a way of doing that to me. If you haven’t read any Calvin & Hobbes, do yourself a favor and check it out, because it is actually quite profound.
We are creatures of habit. It’s easy for every single day to be the same thing over and over again. Nothing seems to change, but then all of a sudden… everything is different.
This isn’t a post about fitness, but it very well could be. Day to day, we don’t notice the changes in our bodies or our health. Then suddenly, we look back and notice how far we’ve come. Progress is progress, no matter how tiny.
This is your reminder to cherish the little things in your life. Remember that time moves very quickly, and before you know it, your life is going to be different. Hopefully, that means different for the better. But regardless of what the future has in store for you, don’t let every day come and go without taking a moment to appreciate what you have today.
Maybe your life feels dull and routine, but there are always special moments to take away and be grateful for. Life moves fast. Don’t forget to slow down every once in a while and appreciate what you have in this moment.
