About Pumping Waffle Iron:

A recipe book devoted to waffles might seem silly, but it’s much more than that. Knowing what/how to eat is really damn confusing.

I want to help show you that eating healthy can still be fun. 

No, these aren’t salads, but they’re fun, simple, healthy ways to get extra protein into your diet. And for so many out there, eating enough protein is a difficult thing to do.

Waffles encompass everything that I believe is important when it comes to food: simple recipes, simple ingredients, delicious food, and most importantly, fun. Waffles have a way of transporting us right back into childhood, and the recipes allow us to let our imaginations run wild.

At the end of the day, while this is a recipe book of waffles, it is much more than that.

I have a huge amount of pride in the wide range of recipes in the “Pumping Waffle Iron” recipe book, but I couldn’t ignore one major question: “what if I don’t like waffles?”

While I firmly believe there’s a waffle recipe in that book for everyone, I know there’s more to life than waffles for some people. That’s why I wanted to bring you Beyond The Waffle Iron, which allows you move beyond the waffle iron, so to speak, to turn the waffle mix recipe into a ton of unique recipes.

By starting every recipe with the same mix, it allows you to prep it in bulk and whip up a recipe in absolutely no time. Now you can have a whole pizza or batch of cookies in about 15 minutes with very minimal prep required!

I made sure to use only commonly found ingredients, or items you can very easily purchase online. But don’t worry, I’ve included notes on substitutions for the ingredients as well, so you should be fine!

The waffle mix is just a simple recipe in the book. By combining a few ingredients, we’ll have a waffle mix that we can use for every single one of these recipes!

To be totally honest, the point of this book is the fact that it is high-protein, so recipes were only tested with high protein ingredients. That being said, you can swap out the waffle mix recipe in the book for another waffle mix (either homemade or store-bought) that isn’t high-protein. Just be sure to buy one that’s a “just add water” mix so it bakes similarly.

No, we don’t shy away from carbs here, so they won’t work on a keto diet.

There are gluten-free substitutions for most recipes 🙂

There are vegan substitutions for most recipes 🙂

Yes, they use sugar substitute. Personally, artificial sweeteners do not bother me. That being said, they are not required ingredients, and any recipe that calls for sugar substitute can easily be made with real sugar, or another sweetener of your choice (I explain further in the book)

Most are! There are some exceptions, like the peanut butter waffle, but the base recipe does not contain any nuts. If you have any other allergen concerns, please email me at [email protected] and I’d be happy to clear anything up.

I understand there are people reading this from all over the world, and I know some ingredients may not be available to everyone. I’ve included all of the brands that I use and recommend, but you can use others that are available to you. Don’t worry, I have recommendations within the book as well!

No way! I wanted to make these as easy as possible to whip up. Almost every single recipe is a “just add liquid” recipe, with the exception of any toppings or mix-ins required. The standard waffle is just your powdered mixture + water or milk! No eggs or oil required.

All sales of the book are final. I would truly love to be able to offer you a refund if you are unhappy, but I can’t run the risk of people buying the book, saving the pdf, and then getting their money back.
